He left an established career to invest in the village that shaped him.
Dr. Hajibhai Badi studied at the nationally respected Lokbharti Sanosara and later returned there as a teacher. At 49, he made the defining choice of his life: voluntary retirement from Lokbharti’s PTC College so he could serve his birthplace through education and rural development.
Since 2010, he has worked continuously with rural communities to establish an organisation capable of responding to interconnected village needs. His approach was never limited to the classroom. For him, education includes health awareness, self-reliance, environmental responsibility and the confidence to shape one’s own future.
“Real development begins when communities are empowered to shape their own future.”
Community health knowledge in practice.
Since 1987, Dr. Badi has drawn on experience in community health awareness connected with Lokbharti’s Matrudhara Centre and the guidance of Madhuben Bhatt.
This experience informs his interest in affordable health education and practical wellbeing awareness. It does not represent a claim that the Trust provides certified medicines or medical treatment.
Milestones shaped by conviction.
Chose voluntary retirement from Lokbharti Sanosara PTC College to return to his birthplace and devote himself fully to education and rural development.

Instead, he continued serving Saurashtra and Gujarat through educational programmes, constructive social initiatives and motivational speaking. His writing covers education, literature and social life.
Dr. Shakil Ahmed Badi
Education leader • Engineer • Educator
A Mechanical Engineer with a Ph.D. in Education under the Maulana Azad National Fellowship, Dr. Shakil chose the village classroom over a conventional corporate career.
He chose rural education over a conventional corporate career. He currently supports educational leadership and continues to teach Science, Mathematics, English and Computer Studies.
His leadership combines engineering discipline, educational research and daily classroom practice. The goal is direct and ambitious: create rural learning environments strong enough that children can study, grow and imagine their future where they live.
Stronger villages begin with shared purpose.
